Skyline jQuery Slide Menu is a plugin of Joomla that displays Skyline Menu Pro as a noticeable sliding menu. The submenus appear with nice dancing effects when you click to slip them in and out. Furthermore, colorful default themes and customizable CSS allow to create menu in many styles.

Installation

• Download Menu Pro from ExtStore.
• Follow the instruction here to install and set for Skyline Menu Pro successfully.
• Download jQuery Slide Menu here.
• Go to Administrator site, click to Extensions → Extension Manager, then Browse the file and Upload and Install.
• Go to Plug-in Manager to publish Jquery Slide Menu Plugin

 

• Go to Extensions → Module Manger and click to create a new Skyline Menu Pro module
• A pop-up will appear.

 

Setting for Jquery Slide Menu

• Go into the Administrator site, choose Extensions → Module Manager → Menu Pro

Setting for Basic Option

• Select Plugin: Default (used as the Joomla menu); If you choose Jquery Menu Slide, you may customize the following Jquery Slide Menu Options.
• Select menu: Choose Jquery Slide Menu to display.
• Menu Tag ID: Enter a value to assign as the id property of the root tag when the Menu is displayed.
• Start Level: Level to start rendering.
• End Level: Level to end rendering.
• Show sub-menu items: Choose Yes/No to show or not show your menu in multilevel

Setting for Jquery Slide Menu Options

• Load jQuery: Set to implement jquery loading effect to pages or contents.
• Select Theme: Select the theme style to display menu. There are 5 themes: black, blue, green, red and white. The default template is in white.
• Menu Width: Set the width of menu in pixels.
• Amimation Effect: 20 effects to choose for menu's animation.
• Random Animation: Choose Yes/No to Enable/Disable random animation effect for menu.
• Black Label: Text to be added and appended to back menu.
• Show Current: Show current menu title in back menu.
• Custom CSS: Modify the visual style of the menu.

Setting for Menu Assignment

• Module Assignment: Choose to assign module in selected pages.
• Menu Selection: Select menu type.
